Bike safety check days are paid for by the employer to encourage their employees to get their bikes tuned up and cycle in. The benefits of cycling are well known and as the NHS says:
Cycling is one of the easiest ways to fit exercise into your daily routine because it’s also a form of transport. Cycling also:
saves you money
gets you fit
helps the environment
It’s a low-impact type of exercise, so it’s easier on your joints than running or other high-impact aerobic activities. But it still helps you get into shape.
Please get in contact with us to organise a bike safety check day. Usually we would offer 30 minute slots to each cyclist to tune up their bike and discuss anything cycling related – from winter clothing to who is going to win the Tour de France. We can therefore offer approximately 14 cyclists bike safety check and advice in a day which should offer great benefits to employees and of course the employer.
